Imagine stopping at a viewpoint high above the ocean on the island of Kauai to look at the dramatic ocean views...
and a gentle breeze brings you a hauntingly beautiful echo of unworldly angelic voices singing to a full orchestra.
As you look around to discover the source of this phenomenon, your eye catches the sparkle of white flecks of movement
against the black basaltic rocks among the crashing surf far below.
It slowly becomes apparent that there is a full choir and orchestra below on the rocks.
A quick drive to the next turnout finds a large group of vans and a path down to the beach.
You rush down the trail fearing that what you thought you saw will have disappeared before you get there...
At the foot of the trail is a beautiful sandy beach punctuated by a point of black basaltic rock.
On the rocks are students from Kauai High School, all dressed in white, filming a music video.

I have to list this as the highlight of my 2011 Hawaiian trip...
Kudos to a High School with such a beautiful creative vision.
